My name is Chip and I am originally from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. I graduated from DeSales University in 2012 with a BS in Exercise and Sport Science. I then went on to graduate from Widener University in 2015 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
I currently reside in Ardmore, Pennsylvania with my wife, Kaitlin. She and I have been married for a year and a half now. In my free time, my wife and I love to travel. We love going to the beach. We love to visit new places, try new food, and seek new experiences. I am also a sports fanatic. I live and die with Philly sports, so mostly die. I have also become addicted to the game of golf and I try to play as much as possible.
I have been working at Joint and Spine Physical Therapy for almost 4 years. I was fortunate enough to have my last clinical rotation with Marty in the Newtown Square office in early 2015and I have been here ever since! My first year and a half with JSPT were as a staff physical therapist in the Newtown Square Office. For the past two and a half years, I have been the Clinic Director and staff therapist in our Berwyn clinic.
I was drawn to the profession of physical therapy because it is a combination of being a medically based field with the ability to be active and help others improve their daily lives. I always knew I wanted to work with people in some capacity, and physical therapy has checked all of my boxes.
My favorite part of my job is getting to know patients on a personal level, which I think is necessary to truly help someone. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing I was able to provide others with my skills and knowledge to make a difference in their life. I enjoy working with patients of all age ranges, injuries, and limitations. Every patient is different, so physical therapy is a career that provides variety and enjoyment.
